CNN conducted a study about how many Christians place their faith above politics or politics over their faith. The responses of some faith believers where that they put Christ over the Government. They feel that this Country was based on Christianity and should continue being that way. Some responses where from teachers which feel that because prayer was removed from public schools the new generation is corrupted. They stated that even though prayer was removed from public schools they continue praying. Christians believe that religion is under attack and it should stop, the constitution was based on freedom of religion.
On the other hand, we have some that believe that Christianity and politics cannot be affiliated with the other and that tax money should not be invested in any religion. Some citizens leave there faith because they feel that holding office is much more important than there faith.
It is hard to say whether Christians value their faith over their government. It may depend on that person's own experiences with both their faith and their government. Many Christians understand that there should not be a mix of religion in government while others believe that the lack of faith in politics is the reason it is corrupt. Some Christians may say that it is God's will for all people to follow the law while others may believe that descent is necessary if the government imposes laws that are contradictory to Bible teachings and God's word.
